10.00 Transfer from Ciampino and Fiumicino airports (fixed time: 12.00 and 15.00) to reserved hotels. The Congress takes place at Crowne Plaza Hotel (Aurelia Antica street n. 415).
17.00 Meeting at Crowne Plaza Hotel. Transfer by bus with a guide to Piazza Venezia, IV Novembre street, Palazzo Valentini, headquarter of the provincial Administration of Rome (now Metropolitan City). The participants could see what life was in ancient Rome and they can appreciate a guided tour to Domus Romane, patrician villas dating back to IV century B.C., decorated with frescoes, mosaics, marble floors, and including remains of thermal baths.

For the attendants: short guided tour to “Il Mitreo del Circo Massimo” (to be confirmed to the organizing committee) a place destined for mystery rites of the god Mithras, Babylonian Iranian deity whose cult found its maximum diffusion in the Roman Empire, between III and IV centuries A.D. The central act of the myth is the killing of the cosmic bull that, dying, creates the universe. Back at about 13.

15.30 Board of Directors of the International Association of the Walled Cities A guided tour to “Diocleziano’s baths” (to be confirmed to the organizing committee) the most marvellous thermal complex ever built in the Roman world. Built between 298 and 306 A.D., the Baths were transformed by Michelangelo who realized there the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri Cristiani and la Certosa.

19.15 Departure from Crown Plaza for the Gala dinner at the exclusive Villa Veientana, a prestigious Roman house of the Saudi prince Kashoggi (dress code black tie or dark suit)

10.15 Guided tour to the Roman Walls for a visit to the Passetto di Borgo, which links the Vatican City to Sant’Angelo Castle, and to the Walls museum in Porta San Sebastiano
