Thursday 2nd June 2011

Arrival of delegates from various destinations
Meet and Greet at Malta International Airport by Viva Representatives.
Transfers by Private Coach to respective Hotels
Welcome by representatives of Maltese Lions and Check-in at courtesy desk manned jointly by Hotel and Viva Representatives
Welcome Drink
Evening at Leisure
An optional outing for the evening is being organized (details to be given later)

Friday 3rd June 2011

08:30 Guests will meet in respective hotel Foyer to be taken on a guided tour to the old Capital Mdina
11:00 We then make our way to Valletta the capital city of Malta, visiting various places of interest including the famous ‘Caravaggio’.
Free time for lunch (optional)
16:00 Pick up from Valletta to Hotels
19.30 Pick up from respective hotel Foyer to Dinner Venue
20:00 A typical Maltese Dinner will follow. After dinner transfer by coaches to respective Hotels
Optional- Transfer to Casino after Dinner. Own transport arrangements from Casino to Hotel

Saturday 4th June 2011

Breakfast
08:30 Pick-up from Hotels for transfer to the Convention Centre for the 8th International Convention of Lions Clubs Walled Cities.
09:00 Registration
09:30 Opening Ceremony and Presentations from various Lions Clubs and other speakers (max 15 minutes per presentation).
11:15 Coffee break
11:30 Continuation of Conference
13:30 Buffet Lunch
14:30 Representatives from the various participating clubs will discuss the outcome of the Conference.

16.00 For those delegates who leave the Conference after lunch we shall be organising an optional excursion of The Malta Experience a multi visual show in Valletta (duration 45 minutes) at the special rate of Euro 3.00 ppwww.themaltaexperience.com

17:00 Back to respective Hotels – Free Time at Leisure
19:30 Pick-up from Hotels and transfer to the Mediterranean Conference Centre where a Grand Farewell Gala Dinner will be held.
(Dress Code Black Tie or Dark Suit)

20:00 Welcome Drink & Canapés
20:30 Dinner – Entertainment during Dinner will be provided by a very popular local vocal and instrumental Band.
The Closing Ceremony of this Convention will come to an end with an exchange of gifts and a speech from the President of the Maltese Delegation
24:00 Transfers by coach to respective hotels

Sunday 5th June 2011

Breakfast
Check-out from Hotels assisted by Viva representatives which will be present in all the Partner Hotels
Coach transfers to Airport
Assistance by Viva Reps for departure check-in at Airport

OR

For those of the delegates staying on there will be organised an Optional full day tour to Gozo including lunch @ €65.00 pp

Total package price €220.00 per person which includes:

  • Transfers Airport/Hotel/Airport
