XI International Congress of the Lions Walled Cities that will be held in Bergamo:

The theme of the Congress will be :
“Meeting with Bergamo, an ancient Walled Town”
The Venetian Walls will be analyzed from different angles: history, building vicissitudes, structural characteristics, protection, conservation, enhancement, tourism and future projects.
Talented speakers such as academics, expert of the Walled Italian Towns, an architect, deep expert on the Walls of Bergamo, and an important leader of the Superintendence of Architectural Heritage and Landscape will intervene.
The Clubs wishing to attend, to talk about the reality of their Walled Towns, are requested to send, by March 31, 2014, at the following e-mail address: cittamurate2014@discoverbergamo.it their relations that (including any eventual videos ) should not exceed 10 minutes.
Thus our communication path continues, it will grow even more in the coming months and we hope that it will capture your interest and stimulate your curiosity.
